New to TruE™ 3 Studio (in TruEmbroidery™ 3 ELEMENTS and TruEmbroidery™ 3 ELITE) is the Endless Assistant. The Endless Assistant adds markers to an embroidery so it can be stitched out in an evenly spaced fashion as many times as desired. After the first hooping is finished, re-hoop the fabric using the markers to align to the previous hooping.

If there is more than one embroidery on the screen, the embroideries are combined automatically when the Endless Assistant is started. To start the Assistant, click Assistants Assistants > Endless Assistant or choose Assistants > Endless Assistant. Pictured below is an Endless design created from a combination of one design duplicated and mirrored.

The Fabric Direction is the direction the fabric is moved in the hoop for each repeat. The direction depends on the size and orientation of the hoop as it is shown in the Preview area. Select from Up, Down, Left, or Right. The default direction is Up for vertical hoops and Left for horizontal hoops.

The end marker is used to line up the next stitchout of the embroidery. End marker positions are shown by red dots on the preview. Choose from four types: corner, single stitch, tie off, and line. Select the positions of the markers. You can choose from Both, Left/Bottom, Right/Top. "Both" is recommended for most situations.

Use Gap to change the spacing between each embroidery. Gap changes the position of the start and end markers, as shown in the preview. The Gap is split evenly on each side of the stitchout.

Select Repeat Embroidery to fill the hoop with as many embroideries as possible. This saves having to re-hoop the fabric for each stitchout of a small embroidery. Select Remove Overlap option to prevent areas of stitches building up when the repeated embroideries overlap. Select ColorSort to automatically color sort the embroidery when Repeat Embroidery is used.

The preview shows how the embroidery will be made endless. The Information area shows the current hoop size, the stitch count Stitch Count, width Width, height Height and number of color blocks Colors of the endless embroidery. Use the Zoom bar to change the view of the embroidery. When you are happy with the preview, click Done to make the embroidery endless.

If you own TruEmbroidery™ Software, the May TruEmbroidery™ Newsletter explained how to create repeating designs using the TruE™ Studio, TruE™ Modify and TruE™ Create applications.
